My Story
Pilar is dedicated to providing a safe space to help clients explore life’s challenges so they can connect with themselves and others on a deeper level. She believes in the importance of helping clients identify and use their strengths so they can accomplish their goals and approach their life with confidence. Pilar understands the therapeutic relationship is the most important aspect of therapy and aims to connect with her clients by being non-judgemental, compassionate, and warm.
Pilar completed a Bachelor of Arts degree with honours in Psychology with a minor in indigenous Studies from Wilfrid Laurier University. She is currently completing her Masters in Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy from Martin Luther University College at Wilfrid Laurier University.

As a queer therapist, Pilar understands the importance of working with a therapist who understands how your identities impact your daily life. She aims to provide support to a diverse range of clients by meeting them with curiosity, humility, and respect for them as the experts in their own lives. Pilar has received a strong foundation that supports her entry into the field of sex therapy as a developing clinician.

Whether it is their first time in therapy or they are returning to examine new challenges, Pilar is excited to collaborate with clients to help them discover their ability to live their lives the way they desire.
